Patient Information
What can I expect after surgery?
Surgery using the DASCOR® Disc Arthroplasty System typically requires a brief hospitalization followed by a reduced level of work or exercise. Based on the physician's recommendations, post-operatively, patients may gradually increase their level of exertion over a six-to-eight week period to build strength and stamina and progress toward resuming normal activities. It is important to remember that recovery plans are determined on an individual basis, factoring in the individual's condition and progress, as well as their lifestyle, the type of work they do, and the amount of support they can expect to receive at home.
